Francesco Sica
PhD student in Molecular and Traslational Medicine (DIMET Program) at CNLab from y 2019. Lorenzo Taiarol received his master's degree in pharmaceutical biotechnologies in 2018 at University of Milan. The research activity of L.T. is aimed to design novel nanoparticles for the delivery of drugs to central nervous system and to evaluate their efficacy on in vitro and in vivo models of glioblastoma multiforme. In particular, his PhD project is aimed to design and validate advanced technologies for drug delivery in brain cancer immunotherapy and it is focused on the immune response of glioblastoma cells after the treatment with epigenetic modulators. His expertise includes cellular and molecular biology, in vitro assays, handling and treatment of mouse models, optical and confocal microscopy. He is author of two review articles and two papers (in submission) and referee for some scientific journals.
